Terms of Use
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Agentric, the AI receptionist platform operated by Sequel AI Ltd. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Agentric is operated by Sequel AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16897137), with registered office at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
You can contact us at support@agentric.agency for general matters, or privacy@agentric.agency for anything relating to personal data.
2. The service
Agentric provides an AI-powered receptionist that answers inbound telephone calls and website chats on behalf of your business, handles frequently asked questions, captures enquiries and books appointments.
The service includes a hosted landing page, an embeddable chat widget, a dashboard, and integrations such as Google Calendar. Features may vary by plan and may change over time.
The service is provided on a business-to-business basis. You must be 18 or older and acting for a business to register.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the knowledge you give the assistant (services, prices, hours, policies). The assistant repeats what you teach it — we are not liable for incorrect information you configure.
You must keep your account credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for complying with any sector-specific obligations (for example, safeguarding, legal or clinical duties) that apply to your business. The AI is a receptionist, not a regulated professional.
You must not use the service for unsolicited outbound marketing calls or messages, unlawful purposes, or to process more personal data than necessary for handling inbound enquiries.
4. AI disclosure and call recording
By default, the assistant discloses that it is an AI at the start of every call and chat. You may configure aspects of this disclosure, but you must not instruct the assistant to claim it is human.
Where call recording is switched on (it can be turned off in your settings), callers hear a recording notice. Voicemail messages are always recorded. You are responsible for any additional disclosure obligations in your industry.
As between us, you are the data controller for your customers' personal data processed by the assistant; we act as your processor under our Data Processing Agreement.
5. Plans, billing and trials
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. Prices are shown excluding VAT; VAT applies where required.
Trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; service continues to the end of the paid period.
We may change prices on 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including: probing or attacking the platform, attempting cross-tenant access, using the service for unlawful or harmful content, or reselling access without our written consent.
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practicable.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
Telephony depends on third-party carriers; we are not responsible for carrier-side outages or number porting delays.
The assistant may occasionally answer imperfectly. Human handoff and message fallback are provided for important enquiries.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or loss caused by inaccurate information you configured into the assistant.
Our aggregate liability in any 12-month period is capped at the amounts you paid us in that period, or £500 if greater.
9. Data protection
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy and, for your customers' data, under our Data Processing Agreement (see /dpa).
We do not use your customers' data or conversation content to train foundation models.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms on reasonable notice posted on this page. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend for breach, non-payment or legal requirement. On termination we retain data only as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
