Free business landing pages: what yours needs to convert
Agentric Team ·
Your Agentric landing page is free, auto-generated and intentionally simple — a single page that exists to do one thing: turn a visitor into a booked call or chat. Here's what makes it work and how to tune it.
The five elements that matter
1. What you do, instantly. A visitor should understand the business in under three seconds: "Hartley Heating — boilers, repairs & servicing in Leeds." No cleverness, no mission statements.
2. Services with prices. Listings with actual prices (or honest "from £X") massively outperform "contact us for pricing". Price transparency is a trust signal and a filter — it kills tyre-kicker calls and reassures real buyers.
3. Hours and coverage. When you're open and where you work. Saves both parties a wasted conversation.
4. A way to act. This is where the chat widget earns its keep — "chat with our assistant" is a live, instant, booking-capable contact channel on the page itself. For many visitors it beats ringing a number.
5. Contact details. Phone number (tappable on mobile), email, address area. Legitimacy signals that some customers still need.
Why one page beats a website here
A surprising truth for local services: multi-page websites mostly dilute attention. Visitors don't read your "Our Story" page — they want a service, a price and a way to book. A tight single page with a live assistant outperforms a brochure site for pure enquiry conversion.
Making yours sharper
- Brand colour — set it in settings; it themes the page and widget consistently.
- Service descriptions — one line each, benefit-adjacent: "Annual boiler service — keeps your warranty valid", not "Service offering #1".
- The description paragraph — write it like your best referral: who you are, what you do, where, and the trust markers (Gas Safe, years trading).
The extension point
Need more later? The hosted page is a floor, not a ceiling — the same widget embeds on any real website, and the roadmap includes a fuller multi-page builder. The landing page exists so that "I don't have a website" stops meaning "I can't have web enquiries."
